We decided to launch our “2 minutes With” series with Zaria Forman, a Brooklyn-based artist that creates large-scale pastel drawings documenting nature’s shifting landscapes.  She uses her art to shed light on the effects of climate change and the effects it has on nature as we know it, specifically in relationship to water.  Since she was a child Zaria has traveled the globe exploring the dramatic natural landscapes.  Her late mother, Rena Bass Forman, also an artist, was very much inspired by nature and it had quite an impact on Zaria.  Recent trips for her include an expedition to Greenland and a trip to the Maldives.   All Matter went on a little local journey with Zaria, taking a moment to just “be” in nature and engage with water which is her greatest inspiration.
